Core Values
Loyalty
Seeking to Love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and loving our neighbor as ourselves, LRO is committed to walking through life hand in hand with those whom God has created. ~ John 15:3 “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
Making disciples is LRO’s chief duty and purpose as ministry unfolds day by day. ~ Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Duty
We believe that people will know we are Christians by the way we walk and the way we talk. ~ 1 Peter 2:17 “Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the LORD.”
Respect
LRO is committed to helping people build a better life with Christ, expecting nothing in return. ~ Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.”
Selfless Service
We seek to bring honor to the Lord in all that we do; serving God with a humble heart and willingness to go where He has called us. ~ Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship.”
Honor
LRO aims to do the right thing even when no one is looking, we know that what is done behind closed doors and in secret affects the masses. Sin is always communal. ~ Hebrews 13:18 “Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way.”
Integrity
LRO has been called to stand up and fight for the “least of these,” to be a voice for the people in the wilderness, and a safe refuge for those seeking the LORD. ~ 1 Corinthians 16:13 “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.”
Personal Courage
Vision.
LRO strives to bring hope to the broken, hurting, lonely, and searching through a personal relationship with Christ, who transforms us from the inside out. We wholeheartedly believe that reconciliation with God brings about reconciliation with others. As we seek to strengthen our relationship with the Lord, relationships begin to change, work ethic begins to change, families begin to change, Life begins to change.
